Taryn E. Wong: Taryn is the brains and body behind Pacific Reader. Embracing her detail oriented, picky, and particular point of view, Pacific Reader was re-born.
Taryn was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, but was raised in the mainland with her mother in Austin, Texas. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin she moved back to the islands in 2002.
Taryn now calls Kahalu’u home living with her husband Steven and their two beagles. Island life is what brought her back to Hawaii after 13 years. She is an avid surfer and prides herself as a strong water-woman.
In her leisure Taryn also enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and hiking the island trails with her dogs. Taryn currently works in real estate and has been doing part-time freelance writing for the past 6 years.
