January 31, 2013 I happened to be up on the north shore playing hooky from work and heard the Volcom Pipe Pro was ON.  My buddy Brittany and I biked over to the contest and watched a few heats in the morning.

There was a north west swell building out at Pipeline with a little wind on it, which made the waves a little hairy for the competitors.  Surfers had to choose their waves wisely to avoid going over the falls or breaking a board.

Kawai Lindo walked away today with a ”Electric Perfect 10″ and $1,000 cash prize! The weather was sub par with gray skies and cool trades, but I was glad anyway to be laying on the beach at one of the best surf spots in the world.

So I spent another day on the north shore for day 2 of the Billabong Pipe Masters, procrastinating all my work and responsiblities, but who cares when Pipeline is breaking epic 8-12 barrels, right?!! Read the full story at Aloha Update.

Costume Ball, Tsukiji's Fashion Show by Goldenchild Ent. w/ LilKitty Ko & TrenDiva

Halloween 2011 was a weekend of parties and events through out Oahu.  I went out to Art After Dark on Friday night and the Costume Ball at Ala Moana on Monday.  Here are some photos from the two events via Aloha Update.

 One of my favorite events of the year is this Sunday, October 2, the Petwalk 2011 at Magic Island.  The Petwalk is the Hawaiian Humane Society’s largest fundraiser.  Come out on Sunday to help support the Hawaiian Humane Society and walk with thousands of dogs. 

September 9, 2011, The Joy of Sake Honolulu 2011 was held at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel.  There were over 300 sakes  for tasting, 15 restaurants providing small plates, musical entertainment, and other Japanese inspired treats.  I got to taste about 35 high quality, award wining, and unique sakes (Steve got about 50!).  I saw many familiar faces, and overall Steven and I had a wonderful time at the event and look forward to going again next year.
